Welcome to our Other Religions page. While this site is dedicated to Christians and Christianity we felt that it was important to provide links to other religions. By doing this we hope to provide you with an opportunity to explore what other people believe and the principles that guide their lives. You'll might be surprised to know that the Muslims revere Jesus as a prophet, or that the Hindus believe in one supreme God. Did you know that the main concepts of Buddhism are: generosity, morality, patience, diligence, meditation, and wisdom? Don't these sound like Christian values? On this ever-shrinking planet coexistence will be key to our survival. Let's support our brothers and sisters who strive for a better world through their life affirming religious beliefs. |

Religioustolerance.org is a great web resource that tries to provide unbiased information about different religions. They do not believe that religious tolerance means accepting the beliefs of others, but rather, respecting their right to worship in their preferred way. You won't agree with everything you read but it will challenge your notions of your religion and other people's. |

The world desperately needs a new understanding of human nature and of human society that all can share. Such a vision is provided in the writings of Bahá’u’lláh, the nineteenth-century prophetic figure Whose growing influence is the most remarkable development in modern religious history. Today, the Bahá’í community—made up of people from every race, religion, and nation—is turning Bahá’u’lláh’s vision into reality. You will want to explore it for yourself. |
